i'm a 24 year old college student currently seeking a new place to stay by this september. my current roommate (who i've been renting a room from since december 2012) is selling the house and moving in with his fiance' this september, which means i must find somewhere else to live. posting this early to make sure i don't run into trouble when september comes.
i'm very quiet. the most noise you'll hear from me are my video games. i don't do any drugs at all and i drink very, very rarely on special occasion. i have a girlfriend i've been with for awhile now who comes over. she is also a video gamer, so date nights are usually spent in my room gaming if not at the movies or something. i recently graduated from lone star college-kingwood and i'll be starting as a junior this semester at u of h, double majoring in computer science and mathematics, and i work as a shift manager at papa johns in the galleria but i'm currently looking for employment in my field. i have a small dog named lila that is my best friend. she's a rat terrier, is potty/house trained and very quiet. honestly, this dog never barks. we've tried to make her, she won't do it. my friends and i joke that she is a grandma dog because she's always laying around or wanting to cuddle. i am a night owl, usually don't get home from work until around 12:00am during the week and i stay up playing video games sometimes. it's worse during the semester because i usually study at night however i am very quiet and won't disturb you at all.
i was raised by my grandparents until my grandpa passed away. because of my grandma's fixed income and health issues, i decided it was best to move out when i was 18, and haven't moved back home ever since, although i do go and visit with my grandmother every now and then. as such, i am very responsible for my age. as my current roommate can attest, i like to pay rent/bills ahead of time if at all possible. i can afford $450 a month in rent if the bills are included.
