hey there :) my name is amy and i'm looking for a roommate asap. i'm a 26 year old single mom with one daughter and one very small dog. we own a a 1600 sq ft. 3/2 home with 2 car garage on the southside, right off 9a. it's close to downtown, st. john's towncenter and the beaches and is in an excellent neighborhood. we have a vegetable and herb garden, flowers, and relaxing patio overlooking a small pond. i work a full time job and own a side business so i am on the go a lot or working at home. we love to have bbqs, go to the beach, watch tv or whatever to just relax in our spare time. we keep the house clean, calm and quiet and need to keep it that way.

we are looking to rent 1-2 of our bedrooms and share the rest of the house for a minimum of 6 months, preferably longer. only mature, clean, respectful and responsible people are welcome. i prefer a mid 20s - 40s female roommate but if we feel comfortable i am willing to rent to a male as well. i don't mind smokers or the occasional drinkers but i do not allow smoking in my house (must be outside), no party animals, no drugs, and i prefer guests to be limited to 1-2 nights a week. i don't mind dogs as long as they get along well with children, other dogs, are completely housebroken and have no behavioral problems. i'd also prefer them to be under 30 lbs.

rent is $550 for one room (+ 1 months rent deposit) but that's negotiable depending on how many rooms you want, and what you are willing to help out with around the house. shared utilities (usually run about $150-200). i'm pretty flexible, most importantly i'm looking for the right roommate(s) match for us. this would be a perfect match for a single parent with a small child/children. i will do a background, employment and rental history/reference check. and you must have your own furniture.
