i am a 29-year old, non-smoking professional female.

i have a room available in a great apartment community just north of downtown dallas. i have leased a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment in the village which i would like to share with a roommate. the village community boasts 24 hour security patrols, trails for biking or running, and access to many amenities including a fitness center, multiple swimming pools, tennis courts, and a putting green located in a quiet neighborhood that gives you the feeling of living in the suburbs while being just a few minutes from the center of the city. ample parking space and proximity to the dart station and bus routes gives residents many transportation options.

the apartment is being upgraded with new appliances, new carpet, and new flooring and will be available for a move in date of august 9th (at which time the 11-month lease begins and i, myself, will be moving in). there is a stackable washer/dryer in unit, dishwasher, and oversized closets.

your cut will be $460 a month (including renter's insurance) + 50% of utilities and internet. i am not planning on getting cable, but am willing to pay for half of a basic package if you would prefer it. i am also asking $125 to cover half of the deposit and administrative fees, which i have already paid. the apartment complex requires that a roommate pay an application fee of $35 and undergo a background check.

interested parties must not have pets (the complex does not allow them) and must be non-smoking. no overnight guests. out of town guests are ok with reasonable notice.
